Moses Castillo
GIS Specialist
Moses’ work as the GIS specialist has him working with the large-scale datasets that the internship program collects every season. “Look deep into nature and you will understand everything better.” -Albert Einstein
Moses grew up visiting the Sierras as a child and watching the year after year degradation of the terrain inspired him to attend the University of California, Berkeley to pursue a degree in Environmental Science. During this time Moses worked to find solutions to environmental issues that persist in the world and this region specifically.
When Moses is not backpacking or crunching datasets, he enjoys being a photographer, traveling, and baking!
