Kate Lynch
Project Manager

Kate serves as a Field Project Manager for the JMT Monitoring Program where she oversees undergraduate interns responsible for identifying and monitoring the most critically impacted areas along the John Muir Trail. In close collaboration with leadership from the National Park Service and U.S. Forest service, Kate ensures the seamless execution of restoration and monitoring initiatives among her crews.

With a background in project management, and extensive experience in environmental monitoring, Kate contributes invaluable experience to the JMT Wilderness Conservancy. Originally from the East Coast, Kate fell in love with the Sierra Nevada on her first trip to the region and has been here ever since. Outside of work, you can find Kate trail running, skiing, and rock climbing.
