John A. Fore is a Partner Emeritus at Wilson Sonsini, where he led the firm’s finance and structured finance practice for over 25 years. He specialized in corporate finance, public and private mergers and acquisitions, and complex equity and debt transactions, advising many of the world’s leading technology, retail, telecommunications, biotechnology, clean technology, and healthcare companies and virtually all the investment banking firms serving those companies.

John represented many industry leaders such as Apple, GoDaddy, HP, Micron, Netflix, Seagate, and Tesla, helping structure significant equity financings, corporate debt offerings, complex cross-border acquisitions, and strategic transactions. Widely recognized for his expertise in corporate law, he has been honored by Chambers USA, Best Lawyers, and Northern California Super Lawyers as one of the nation’s leading corporate attorneys.

John and his spouse Antonia are avid outdoor people. While John frequently enjoys sailing a 45-foot Marconi-rigged sloop on the San Francisco Bay, Antonia has completed a marathon on every continent on Earth.

John holds a J.D. from New York University School of Law, and a B.A. with honors from Yale University in Economics and Political Science.
