Terri Fisher

Field Steward Manager

Terri is the Field Project Manager for Restoration Stewards.  The field steward teams will ensure quality and productivity of restoration work and provide education on the necessity of responsible recreation.

“We need nature for our own preservation, and we must be responsible stewards for the lands we love.  On the larger scale of changing climate, there is an urgent need for action.  I am excited to expand my contributions towards preserving this wondrous planet.”

As a 15-year Forest Service Wilderness Ranger and Trail Crew Lead on the Inyo National Forest, Terri brings extensive experience and knowledge of the John Muir Trail and the impacts of high use in sensitive riparian and high alpine environments.  Terri is committed to wilderness preservation and recreational sustainability.  When not working in the backcountry, Terri is often hiking or skiing in the backcountry with fellow two leggeds and furry four leggeds.
